Neighborhoods we paint

Painting Homes in Every Albuquerque Neighborhood

Every part of Albuquerque has its own kind of home, and each one asks something different of the paint. Here is what we plan for across the city.

Northeast Heights
Stucco ranch homes from the 1950s to the 1980s, where hairline stucco cracks and sun-faded trim on south and west walls are the usual starting point.
Nob Hill
Historic Pueblo Revival and bungalow homes with wood windows and older paint layers, often built before 1978, so lead-safe practices come first.
North Valley
Adobe, older stucco and wood homes under big cottonwoods, where shade, irrigation moisture and wood trim all need extra care.
Westside
Newer stucco subdivisions near the West Mesa, with builder-grade paint that is often ready for its first full repaint.
Four Hills
Foothill homes in the southeast corner of the city that take strong canyon wind and full afternoon sun on their exteriors.
Sandia Heights
Custom homes on the foothills at higher elevation, with large walls, tall ceilings and wood that faces intense sun.
Downtown
Historic homes, lofts, storefronts and offices, where we plan around tight access, neighbors and business hours.

Prep, step by step

How Our Albuquerque Painting Contractors Run Every Project

Whether it is one bedroom or a full commercial building, every job follows the same three steps, so you know what happens and when.

  1. Hands holding a tape measure against a textured interior wall near a door frame
    Step01

    A free look in person

We walk through the project with you, note repairs, measure the surfaces and talk through colors and finishes.

Why it matters: A price based on your actual walls, not a guess over the phone.

  2. Room mid-project with furniture under plastic, taped baseboards, a roller tray and one freshly rolled wall
    Step02

    Prep, protect and paint

Floors, furniture and landscaping are covered, repairs are made and primed, then the finish coats go on.

Why it matters: Most of a lasting paint job happens before the first coat.

  3. Finished freshly painted bedroom with crisp white trim, a clean wood floor and closed paint cans by the door
    Step03

    Walkthrough and cleanup

We walk the finished job with you, touch up anything you point out and leave the site clean.

Why it matters: The job is done when you are happy with it, not when the last coat dries.

Ask Us

How much do painters in Albuquerque charge?

It depends on the size of the space, the surfaces, the repairs needed and how many colors you choose. A single room costs far less than a full exterior, and stucco repairs or tall walls add time. Every project starts with a free, written estimate that breaks the price out line by line before we start.

Which parts of Albuquerque do you work in?

All of it. We paint homes and businesses in the Northeast Heights, Nob Hill, the University area, the North Valley, the South Valley, Downtown, Four Hills, Sandia Heights and the Westside, plus Rio Rancho, Corrales and the rest of the metro. Every part of town gets the same prep and the same free estimate.

Are you a local Albuquerque painting company?

Yes. All New Painting is a family-owned painting company that has worked in Albuquerque since 2006 and has finished more than 1,000 projects across the metro. We know how our dry air, strong sun and textured walls treat paint, and we plan every job around them from the first visit.

Do you paint both houses and businesses?

Yes. Our house painters handle interiors, exteriors, cabinets and new homes, and our commercial crews paint offices, retail spaces, restaurants and rental properties. Commercial work can be scheduled around your business hours, and every project, large or small, starts with the same free written estimate and a clear schedule.

When is the best time to paint a house in Albuquerque?

Interior painting works any time of year. Exterior painting goes best in spring and fall, when days are mild and nights stay above the temperature the paint needs. Summer works with early starts that avoid the hottest sun, and we plan around monsoon storms. Winter exterior work depends on daytime warmth and dry weather.

Do you work on older homes in Nob Hill and the North Valley?

Yes. Many homes in Nob Hill, the University area, Downtown and the North Valley were built before 1978, so older paint layers may contain lead. We follow lead-safe work practices on those homes, with containment and careful cleanup. Tell us the year your home was built when you ask for an estimate.

How long does a painting project take?

A single room is often done in a day, and a full interior or exterior on a typical Albuquerque home usually takes several working days. Repairs, color changes, ceiling heights and weather all affect the timing. Your written estimate includes a schedule with a start and finish date, so you can plan around it.

How do I get a free painting estimate in Albuquerque?

Fill out the short estimate form on this page or call us. We will set up a time to look at your project in person, answer your questions about colors and finishes, and send a written estimate that lists the prep, the surfaces, the paint and the schedule. The estimate is free, with no obligation.

Where we work

Painters Across the Albuquerque Metro

Albuquerque is home base. Our painters also work in Rio Rancho, Corrales, Los Ranchos de Albuquerque, Placitas and Bernalillo, plus the South Valley and the East Mountains, and farther out by appointment in Los Lunas, Belen and Santa Fe, with the same prep and free written estimates. Village homes in Corrales and Los Ranchos are often adobe or older stucco under big cottonwoods, and Placitas and Bernalillo homes face open sun and wind, so we plan the prep for each.

The family behind the brushes

Meet the Owner

Edik started All New Painting in 2006 with one standard: paint every home as if it were his own. Twenty years later it is still a family business, built on that same standard.

We paint interiors and exteriors, stucco, cabinets and commercial spaces, and we handle the drywall repair and prep that make paint last in the high desert.

More than 1,000 projects later, the goal has not changed: careful prep, clean lines and a home you are proud to come back to.
